What is LSD

LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide) is a very potent hallucinogen that was originally created in 1938. When something you see, hear, feel, taste, or smell feels genuine but isn’t, it is a hallucination. Acid is a common name for it.

Lysergic acid, which is present in ergot, a fungus that grows on rye and other grains, is used to make LSD synthetically. Because of its strength, doses usually fall in the microgram (mcg) range. Its effects—often referred to as a “trip”—can be energizing, joyful, and mentally jarring. A “bad trip” is a term for a situation where it can result in an unpleasant and occasionally terrifying encounter.

LSD blotters (LSD tabs) are the most popular LSD dose method because of how easy they are to use. Similar in idea, a more contemporary method called LSD gel pills has gained popularity recently.

A single LSD tab or a fragment of a tab is typically placed beneath the tongues of users, where they hold it for around 10 minutes.

However, some people swear by holding the pill sublingually for 45 minutes, even though anecdotal evidence suggests there is no difference in the effects after just 10 or 15 minutes.

After the first ten minutes, either swallow the LSD blotter whole or take it out of your mouth and toss it away.

Blotters Dosage

LSD is a potent substance. One of the few psychedelics that works at milligram doses or less. Due to this, LSD is measured in micrograms rather than milligrams or kilos. At the threshold level, psychoactive effects can be felt with as little as 50 micrograms.

Anything less than 20 mcg is known as a microdose; most people aim for 10% of the typical psychoactive dose. The equivalent of this is roughly 10% of a blotter square.
The official threshold for LSD Sheets is 50 mcg, but this can change depending on the user’s size and sensitivity to the drug. The range for this is 20 to 60 mcg.
A complete tab of LSD, or the standard hallucinogenic dose, is between 80 and 100 mcg.
Heroic dosage — It is not advised to use this dosage. A heroic dose is defined as 200 mcg or more. At this dosage, LSD Sheets have effects similar to those of DMT.

What does it look like?

LSD has a mildly bitter taste and is odorless and colorless. LSD is available as saturated sugar cubes, tablets, “micro dots,” saturated absorbent paper (like blotter paper, divided into tiny, decorated squares, each square indicating one dose), and liquid.

What is its effect

pupils that are dilated, a higher core body temperature, elevated heart rate and blood pressure, perspiration, appetite loss, disturbed sleep, a dry mouth, and trembling. The user may have impaired depth and time perception when under the effect, along with skewed perceptions of motions, colors, sounds, touch, and the user’s own body image. The user is more likely to get personal injuries since they are less able to make wise decisions and recognize everyday threats. Users who take LSD may experience severe anxiety and sadness following a “trip.”

What are its overdose effects

With higher doses, “trip” episodes could last longer and be more severe. After administration, there may be serious and perhaps long-lasting psychological damage, such as fear, depression, anxiety, and paranoia. LSD use is rarely fatal.
