The “Transkei” strain of Psilocybe cubensis was first discover in 2002 along the Transkei coast of South Africa. It is also refer to as South African Transkei (SAT) or Transkei Cubensis. This particular batch of magic mushrooms is the first one known to have originated in Africa.
